>≫Farlies Poem by Abdul Wahab

>≫Farlies

I found myself dropped
in nineteen seventy one
Since then I am counting,
now it is forty three
If the span of life is
on an average of seventy
Then surely I have crossed half
Long before I understand
what it is all about.

The things which last longer
than life's span
I found them late and
took them up much later
No wonder, as I know
life is not all beer and skittles
It has rubs so it is so sweet.

But before the sun goes
to set in the west and twilight begins
What are the farlies still
waiting for me to be seen?
