Farm Poem by Aravind Suresh

Farm

I wonder if I lived in a Farm,
Riding a horse and feeding the cows,
Play with the hens and collecting eggs,
Drink the milk that cow always gave,
Having that egg the chicken just laid,
Scattering the seeds and harvesting the crop,
Play in that barn where the hay is stored,
Play in that harvested Field in the Sun,
Above the head and above the barn,
Above the Scarecrow and casting a man,
Sleeping at a bed of hay,
Feeling the sun that lit up the land,
Milking the cows and collecting eggs,
Having that acorn and shaking that apple tree,
Selling the wheat and counting money,
Fishing in that river happily,
Whipping the horse and riding along,
Life in a farm can never be gone!
