Father To Daughter Poem by Paul Sebastian

Father To Daughter

God-sent you as gift-daughter
It‘s His choice I be your father
Commissioned to carry His responsibility
Committed to witness His heavenly glory

Walk I will with you this long journey
To guard, guide you always, lovingly
To oversee your joy complete
Sowing God’s love, own joy I’d reap

My life is then lived worthwhile
For this one life is only for a while
Upon passing, a new life’s to begin
Where we’ll share lives everlasting

God-sent you to be my daughter
Loving and caring I’ll not falter
Always a father, always a daughter
Always be so, now and hereafter
