Fear Poem by Seema Aarella

Fear

Sending shivers through my mind
Chilling the hope of life
Was the thought of Fear undefined.
Stopping my heart awhile
Sometimes speeding my pulse
The very thought of it
Reveals the face of fear.
Not seen life to its full
I had to face the fear of death,
Though it was a dream
It nearly stopped my breath
How will it be if I am gone?
A day or two people will mourn,
And rejoice when a new day breaks
Is this the difference it makes?
For this I fear the most
What else can be worst?
Though life did not mean too much
I don’t want a death as such.
