Fear is a feeling
That we cannot control

Fear is that thing
That will come and go

Fear is not terror
Fear is when you are afraid to look in the mirror

To see the bruises
That you try to hide every day

No more I am sorry
No more pain

I am packing my bags
Leaving you, my past behind

It will not be easy, to start all over
But I will give it a try

I am leaving you
Don’t try to follow

Even if you try
I am long gone
