It is the distance between who you are,
and who you want to be,
what you expect,
and what you know will come to pass,
it is the severity and relapse of decisions leading to a place,
you do not want to go,
it is either the light or the darkness,
it can either lead you astray from your destiny,
or towards a greater future,
it can be representative of your lack of courage,
or the gain of a greater understanding,
it can be the shame of knowing the truth,
and doing nothing to stop it,
or the joy of knowing the lie,
understanding what is to come from such a lie,
it is the cause of a broken heart,
or the stepping stone towards mending one.
