Fear And Reality Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Fear And Reality

Rating: 5.0

I always knew the time would come,
To face it all again,
I always knew deep in my heart,
That fate would call your name.
Can't bear to see you go away,
Forever on my mind,
Praying for your safe return,
This war is so unkind!
If only I could turn back time,
To when you were a child,
Escape this dark reality,
My fears are running wild!
I'll think of you each moment,
Until your work is done,
I'll be forever by your side,
Come home safe my Son x

such a nice poem.....v emotional and deeply moved by each and every line! very well written! v true that the fears run wild until we have our loved ones in our arms.........the mind starts wandering to places it should not, as we fear losing our loved one!

We are never at rest until we see our loved faces again. Freedom comes at a price and we all must sometimes pay. This touched my heart. A passionate write.
