Fear In The Night

FEAR IN THE NIGHT

Fear in the night
Fear in the middle of the night
Waking to find myself alone
How many years has it been
Since I was alone at night?

I need you here
I am afraid without you
I am afraid for you

I love you so much

I pray you will get out of this
I pray you will be well again

I love you so much
I do not want to live this life
Without you.

poet Henry David Thoreau

Whate'er we leave to God, God does,
And blesses us;
The work we choose should be our own,
God leaves alone.

If with light head erect I sing,
