Fear Of Men & God Poem by mazHur Butt

Fear Of Men & God

Fear of men and fear of God
Play their roles in every day life
One's based on suspicion and doubt
the other hinged on Faith so rife

Some see God in every thing
Some believe in the Unseen God
Some vie to find and meet him
while His mere thought turns others frown

Yet there are others who will
Readily shun the very Existence of God
For them matter and material only matter
Anything Unseen does their Faith shatter

Such are men who fear No God
But fear they do their fellow beings
They discover, invent newer ideas
doctrines, Theories and Laws.
Knowing that all these already exist
But to lack of their knowledge
This tool of physics they employ
to make and shape the world

to raise a God of their own!
for their own comfort and ease
for the sake of trading profits
for addicting others to them.
Only meant to destroying the peace
of others alongwith their own;
Rockets, missiles, gunships,
armory of every kind
devastating bombs n nukes
air, land and water clutched
All this and more
they make out of fear
of their fellow beings
lest they became stronger
and intruded their territory
or perhaps over threw them
Defense n offense is their rule
a rule of a cowardly Man
fearing other Men
Fear, fear and fear of Men
keeps them on their toes
to oppress n suppress others
who flout their status
Ever ready to war
ever ready to kill
Ah, these science buffs n their clan
Faithless cowards afraid of Man

God of Science is the fear of other men
God of the Believer is the Fear of God
A God omnipotent, omni science, omni present
but Unseen.
If the God of the Faithful is
a Creation of Fear
Then the Fear of Men to Disbelief is a worse Calamity
Tentative n repetitively emerging and dying off
while the Real God lives on
eternally
Smiling at His children's vanity, virtue n vice.
