Fears Poem by Jon Yttri

Fears

I have no fear of being on a boat,
I cannot swim, I have no coat,
And the weather's record chilly.
All the captain's naval skill
Isn't worth a dollar bill,
And we're in the path of Hurricane Millie.
I have no fear of that.
I have no fear of being on a cliff,
The wind is all-time record swift,
And it's about to rain.
No umbrella at my avail,
Was waiting til they were on sale
And above a bomber plane.
I have no fear of that.
I have no fear of being in a tent
Somewhere on the Dark Continent,
And it's night time I assume.
But for a snake, I'm all alone,
Forgot to bring my dear cell phone,
And a hungry lion wants to share my room.
I have no fear of that.
I do fear being in hospital dress,
And the med team has observed the tests.
The patient with whom I share den
Just wants to watch CNN,
And the doc thinks even agony beats death.
Now, that I fear!
