Feast Poem by Dónall Dempsey

Feast

Rating: 5.0

You tell me to:
“Come here! ”

Undo your sash.

Open your kimono
in all its glory

like a majestic gesture
in a Noh drama

gather me
to you

warp me up in
your nakedness

close the beautiful
cloth about me

whisper to me:

“I am your feast
...feast upon me! ”

Your muse has so many faces and so many costumes, speaking so many languages! You are a lucky poet to have such a generous muse!
