As lonely as I am,
As broken as I am,
No one else can be.
Still I am much happy
Because I learnt not to expect-
which heals all wounds.

Everyone I have
But in the hour of need none has time.
It deepens the wound
Which was about to heal.

World is beautiful,
Not the hearts of people.
Everything there is dark as coal.
No space for love to dwell
Which makes it worse than hell.

Yes, you love,
But you fail to see my pain.
You fail to understand the love behind my temper.
You fail to respect the feelings I hold for you.

You may not be doing it on purpose,
But the result is no different.
I still love you
Because you are a baby
Yet to learn, to express love.

I shall wait for you at the other end of time.
Jus' for you to come and take me home
Where there is love,
Where there is You,
Where there is Us; in true sense.
