Feelings Changing

So some how I have a change of heart
But you think you were right from the very start
You just wanted us apart
I thought this was all made up in the dark
I guessed wrong as the fact is its all true
Sipping on a drink of iron-bru
Laughing until my feelings change
Standing back and relaxing
I feel like collapsing
But changes being made
Forced you to run away
Slide under the obstacle
without getting physical
Stand back and chill out
Instead of crying out
Slow down and stay at a steady pace
Come on we know this ain't a race
Feelings may be changing
But there's no need for us to hate
We should just stay up late
And we might be able to create
Something big or maybe something new
Its just something to amuse us
Just until the feeling goes
Changes make a difference
Just gotta see the appearance
Thought you better know
My feelings are changing
Anti-social is not an option
Its just something that got cropped and dropped
I thought this would just be a bop in the park
But other things may scar
So my feelings always changing
So I can wait and play with peoples minds
Like its a unwanted nightmare
But I ain't like that
I've learned to respect other people
So I don't cover up
Because I already shut it down
I made it change
I fought through the pain
I stayed sane
So let your feelings change when you feel ready to
So you don't feel stressed out and pinned down
Just loosen up and fall asleep
Then have a nice dream to clean out the bad memories
This might be something that is challenging
But it is something that needs time
So take it slow and steady
Just let them change
It might not be the same
Your gonna have to take it in
And don't let the pain win
Because you'll feel like you've been spinned around
Until you feel sick
So you need to know feelings are changing
But there's no need to worry
Just sit back down and fall into my arms
Until the job is calm
Just letting you know my feelings are changing
So don't keep me waiting
Farewell I'll keep demonstrating
The way its done
May look easy
But its not like having fun
So I'm done with this one
Come get me when your done
Because my feelings have changed
So I ain't the same
I just want my name shining in gold letters
While standing in the hall of fame

Your eyes smile peace. The pasture gleams and glooms
