POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Note:
Martin Sheen has been arrested over 60 times in demonstrations against nuclear sites and other causes.
The US is the most incarcerating country in
the world, not only because of privatized prison
profiterring but because of a narcocracy which
busts families wide open for nonviolent pot arrests.

This has been one way that white men in power have
in a draconian way controlled black men.

Senator Corey Booker and others are working
to ameliorate one effect of the federal and state
governments having arrested over 100 million people,
unemployed prisoners who can't get jobs when
released.
