You clipped my wings
Brought me crashing down
Stole my fantasies
Took them all away
Now I stand here
All alone

You tried to blame
Me for you again
But we know it couldn’t
Have been my pain or my lies

So why don’t you
Just walk away
Before time where’s thin
Maybe I could just forget
Or maybe forgive

But not today
I have my own demons
To chase away
Can’t sit here crying
Over painful memories

Things no one can
Seem to change
Come rushing back to lock
Me in this cage

But I wasn’t to blame

Don’t come after me again
Begging to try
Just one more time
Cause it seems
I wrote the Final Line
Time to say good-bye
