Field Haiku Poem by Dónall Dempsey

Field Haiku

burst pod
white seed
future floating on the wind

the weed
sets out to
conquer the field

stone
busy being a stone
soaks up the sunshine

the wind
stroking the field's
green flesh

the wind
tickling
the wheat

the wheat
shivers
at the wind's touch
