Fight Or Flight Poem by Miles Ayres

Fight Or Flight

Wasting words away into the night my dear,
Whispered those soft words but still you didn't want to hear.
I'd travel miles of oceans to win you again,
but you'd let me drown, the ships too weak to sustain.

What a shame girl,
i loved you so!
I know i can't be selfish, it's time to let go.
Endless nights thinking of you.
why am I so crazy over something so false and untrue,
Should i fight or should i flight?

Love can be so confusing, love has no law,
I still came crawling to your every waking call.
This isn't healthy for you or I,
as hard as it is...
I have to say goodbye

What a shame girl,
i loved you so!
I know i can't be selfish, it's time to let go.
Endless nights thinking of you.
why am I so crazy over something so false and untrue,
Should i fight or should i flight?
