Wow! and Wow! ! This is one of the finest Senryu poems ever written! If we were all to abide by the wisdom of this poem, the world would be a much better place. Bravo, M.J.!

PH made me cut up my reply in smaller pieces- - There is one thing I would add- -when I read the title- Fillings- - my mind shot straight to chocolate, followed by cherry, apple was closing in- - -I am such a pie filling addict that it took a tear-stained moment for me to shift my gears and go to a more altruistic realm in which morality and philosophy rub shoulders.

Thank you, Susan! And now I am thinking about how much altruism can be packed into apple, cherry pie filling...chocolate...It does seem promising.

Absolutely love the message and how it is delivered. You have talent bubbling over- you write serious, you write amusing, you write so many different styles.

Let us set apart ourselves to fill a head or a heart today! We are passing through difficult times and when we look around, we see so many much more constrained in many ways than us. Compared to them, we are much more fortunate! Let us fill their hearts with a little of joy by our actions or words of care and concern! A beautiful message!
