Final Poem by Justina Blue

Final

Rating: 4.0

I look at it on the floor
I thought there would be more
Should I pick up the pieces
Sweep up the shards
Pretend it never happened
My heart can't take anymore
This latest fatality blindsided me
And as I gaze at my heart on the floor
Getting trampled on and shoved
Out the door I wonder how much
Torture my heart can take before
It dosen't work anymore.
