Final Days Poem by Luke Easter

Final Days

Rating: 5.0

Oh ye of little faith,
Why are you so afraid?
I died on the cross for you,
Providing a better way.

Yet many still do not see,
Look at how they behave,
Do you not understand?
These are the final days.

When the Rapture begins,
There will be no place to hide,
The unsaved will pray for death,
But they will be unable to die.

Suffering a disastrous fate,
Greater than anything on earth,
And it’s all just because,
Not knowing what My Blood is worth.

Why did the Father send Me?
I did not have to show,
Already content in the kingdom,
It was I who chose to go.

Even though already aware,
Mankind had sealed My fate,
Choosing instead to sacrifice this life,
Separating you from greed & hate.

Instead, selfishness has grown,
This is the me first generation,
Ignoring My love for all,
Following the devil’s temptations.

Where do you think this is taking you?
Gaining the world but loosing your soul,
How long can you be on top?
This life is not everlasting you know.

Only in the kingdom of heaven,
Will treasures forever exist?
Why are you not greeting believers?
With a consecrated kiss.

You cannot take it with you,
Whatever it is you own,
Death is exactly like birth,
Two things all will do alone.

I have conquered the end already,
So no one will ever to have to face,
The experience of suffering after death,
On the cross I took your place.

Although in birth life just begins,
But for how long no one will know,
That’s why I’ve already paved the road,
To the kingdom all who are saved will go.
