* Final Farewell To Fallen Idol Poem by Terence George Craddock

* Final Farewell To Fallen Idol

Rating: 5.0

Final Farewell.
To Momentously Fallen.
Unrealistically Adored Idol.

A golden chain.
Forsaken gives it.
To hurtful her.

In love.
In friendship.
In Farewell.

That which
we could
have had
happily together.

Dissipates
echoes achingly
in eternal emptiness
now none can tell.

A golden chain.
I give it.
Consecrete it.
To you.
My eternal love.

The emptiness.
The loneliness.
Bids I say.
No more.
Adieu.

Finality.
Etches.
On and on.
Into an abyss.
Of eternal emptiness.
