Final Forever Farewell Poem by Jacqueline Dougherty

Final Forever Farewell

Is this a game to you?
This must be for that's how you come across to me.
All you ever do is try to control me when this has two sides.
Can't we be on the same page and lead on together?
Or do you have to stand in the big man's shoes and ignore me?
See, I once loved you with every last ounce but I was blinded.
Blinded by your 'charm' 'words' and your 'love'.
All you have ever said to me was just words.
Never have I felt anything you have ever said nor done.
Its funny because I believed we could work.
I lived on false pretenses and I'm glad I know now before I jumped.
My life doesn't need someone like you.
Someone who lies, cheats, hurts and disgusts me.
That is not what I deserve.
Luckily I saved me from you and all you stand for.
Sad for you because.... Guess what?
You lost the best thing you could ever possible have in your life.
Sad for you because I'm going to find someone who will love me.
Someone who will cherish my presence and treat me deservingly.
This is my farewell to you and I wish you all the luck.
Good luck looking for another soul because honestly I won't miss you.
My final forever farewell to you for I will find a real love.
