Final Solution Poem by Beau Bennett

Final Solution

I tried to give you what was left of me, But it was not enough

I tried my hardest with the best of me, But it was not enough

I am chained to solitude, and eternally I must roam

For every heart I try to touch, I'm left stranded and alone

Do not pity me, because now my heart is filled with hope

I now know I'll be alone forever, as I tie the thirteenth knot to rope

No more nights of lonely dispair, No more nights of painful dread

No more broken promises, No more torture in my head

No more painful mornings, No more stifling hurtful cries

No more waking up for me, for tonight all my hope dies
