Finally

Finally we are falling,
We don't even know how,
Finally, it is raining,
Our love now can grow,
Finally, we're germinating,
Soon the Sun will bow,
Finally we are glowing,
Can't help it but say wow,
Finally, our love is pouring,
We can lay our vow,
Finally, we are reaping,
All that we sow.

Poem of the Day

poet John Clare

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
