Finally A Liberation Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Finally A Liberation

Rating: 5.0

Finally Arab world has heaved a sigh
All eyes were upon them expecting very high
It was going to great human tragedy
The same was not wished by almighty

It is not less than miracle
It has changed whole vitiated circle
World never dreamed of a bloodless revolution
The dictator was forced, make the decision to flee or run

The largest democracies of world too had to pass long ordeal
The Arab revolution was never expected to be easy or real
Long march to palace was blocked by anti people for road to seal
Not a single soul moved out from their position and sat without meal

Continuous staging in trusting only in almighty paved the way
The hostile reaction of public forced him retrace the steps and fled away
History has repeated same cycle of drama for forceful eviction
Even though that has not come off without any friction

How many martyrs have laid down lives?
Can any one think of such revolution or believe?
Not a single shot being fired at mobs and causing casualties
It was fine example of tolerance and resolution of fine qualities

Arab people are generally believed to be of high temper
But this time they proved whole theory wrong to prove as cool temper
See the way they stuck on to the last without loosing the goal sight
To the world they were going to present as if their path was completely right

Have we not witnessed bloodiest revolutions?
Still there has remained no key to the solutions
The earth has become red with so much flow of blood on ground
They have yet to find the bright sun after silencing the gun sound

Hats off to the heroic people of grand origin
You have guided us how the bloodless war to win
Not single dropp of blood on ground yet smooth transformation
What a unique way of rejoicing by people through out the nation?

Rules may come and go but history may reveal
How much people faced hardships or ordeal?
Whether anything entered into as special deal
The future may speak itself and not conceal

Let us rejoice this historic event
Let there be no bitterness or any adverse comment
The path lay ahead is full of thorns
Let some good leadership take over and sworn

This is just beginning opening of new road
Country may have to face problems with unforeseen load
Yet fruits of freedom are sweet and very dear
Country can afford any amount of sacrifice to bear
