Waves at my back, friends at my side
Fire at my face, this place a saving grace
Ive learned some things in the days of late
That we all hope for something kind of the same
A trueness, a direction, something solid, something sane
This trueness is found by letting go, living slow
Learn to enjoy the smallest of things, you otherwise would never know
These small things a lesson if you turn on the lights for the show
These things that happen, these things we choose
Nothing is permanent, to see this, you never lose
Find happiness without a cause, without reason, find happiness within, in every season
