Finding The Lost Love Poem by aditya gupta

Finding The Lost Love

I have waited ages, eons it seems,
You are the destiny, I have been running towards,
Always Longing for that something, din’t I have everything,
Now that I have found you, my search is complete,

In thy magnificience, my deliverance,
In thy presence, lies my absence;
To rid thy tears, will spent my years.
For thy happiness, is all my absurdness,

I am now in a perfect place, lost to the world, no trace,
I have often dreamt of here, musing over an allusive prayer,
I have remembred fragments, of long gone abashments,
I recall now tears, shed for ages old fears,

But this is different, now it is not abhorrent,
To declare our love open, we wont suffer again rendition,
Though not any less erring, now the people are scarce caring,
Believe me, this is the perfect time, where we could together rhyme.

The past is but past, the future has yet to be cast,
Let loose now the inhibitions, that keep us in termination,
Begin a new journey, we the only ones in the tourney,
Of the tales of immortal love, lets finish what THEY so ardently sought.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The Society has been always persecutive of love, if the tales of love were to take place today, they would have a different ending, an ending that'll be boring, but full of love. Lets find that love now.
