Fire Heaven Sent Poem by Brandon Lucero

Now we travel to far away places,

heads aligned with all our paces.




Leading with hearts on fire,

she whispered keep on moving,

follow your desires,

cause humanity's improving.




There is no turning back,

experience made us hard,

slashing on the attack,

our souls held all the cards.




Listening to you was serene,

our spirits together now,

keeping each other clean,

I kept asking how,

as you put on your jeans.




Replying with hard fought wisdom,

staring back at me with sharp intent,

build your golden kingdom,

burn it down with fire heaven sent.




Wildfires raged and burning bushes roared,

humans killed each other,

till God evened out the score.

I miss my lonely darling more and more and more.
