First Anniversary
(My first posting on Poem Hunter was on 11.6.2009, just a year back.
All on a sudden it just occurred to me and I wished to acknowledge the same.
My deep gratitude to all my on-line friends for boosting me with the encouraging comments.
My special mention about Dr Subhendu Kar, the renowned poet, who periodically and persistently reminded me to write) .
My entry into poetries
Started at the teens
Not known, not shown
All remained within.
Twenties and Thirties
Saw “once in a blue moon”
Forties encountered
A bit more bloom.
Interest took rise
At half a century
On my mom’s request
Posted on-line poetries.
A site came across ‘Poem Hunter’
It just happened before a year.
First poem posted was
“ A daughter’s gratitude to a loving mother.”
On receiving the first comment
I was so jubilant
It made me wild
And I danced like a child.
My first bonding with PH
Started on 11.6.2009
Till then I got through
Everything went on fine.
I wish all success to Poem Hunter
And greet all on-line friends
W ho boosted me throughout the year.

gleams of light enlightens blue of sky ripping deep darkness by sheath of night yet it comes as moon waxes by full to brim onto last breath of shadow drowning into wine sky slowly looks iridescent by beams of white suffusing ocean yet promises to rave up as when shinned............wonderful yet untold by first anniversary of ph, and thanks for appreciating the encouragement,10+++,
