First Date Poem by Raj Arumugam

Jasper asked me to go out with him
and so I asked Daddy:
Should I go out with Jasper?
And Daddy said:
Lucy dear,
ask your Mommy.


And so I asked Mommy:
Should I go out with Jasper?
And Mommy said:
Lucy dear,
ask your Grandad.


And so I asked Grandad:
Should I go out with Jasper?
And Grandad said:
Lucy dear,
ask your Granny.


And so I asked Granny:
Should I go out with Jasper?
And Granny said:
Lucy - follow your heart.


And so I went back to Jasper
and I said:
Jasper, go jump in the well.
