First Kiss Poem by Kristen Currey

First Kiss

Rating: 2.5

I don't think you know
Quite how long I've hoped
Wished and waited for
That one simple kiss
The kiss that finally determined
That you and I
Are now more than just friends

That night I laid awake
Simply reminicing the feel of your lips
Pressing into mine
For so long
I could still feel the heat of your hand
Where it had been wrapped
So gently around my waist

Please take me now
I promise I'll be waiting here
For only the touch of your lips
Upon mine once again
