First Meet Poem by Sourav Khatua

First Meet

Rating: 5.0

Fast heart beats with shivering lips,
Waked up early sharp and clean;
Entering premises all aone,
Waiting for her in foggy screen.

Watching crystal dew drops,
Falling from leaves on the road;
Rubbing those cold hands together,
Thinking of unseen romantic mode.

Heard some steps from behind,
Looked back to witness the face;
A girl wearing pink sweater,
And bag on shoulder standing in the place.

A catchy face with beholding eyes,
Soft skin and a pretty smile;
Holding my breathe and sight together,
I admired her for a while.

Stepped forward with throbbing hearts,
For exchanging tokens of love;
We gazed upon each other,
Shying and smiling without looking above.
