First Snow - Poem by Pete Crowther

It is snowing in Vineland,
The first flakes are falling
Gently as blessings
Through the still air.
Who cares for the moon
When snowflakes are drifting,
Drifting so softly
Down through the darkness,
Down to the rooftops
Covering the sleepers,
The dreamers, in Vineland tonight?

A very peaceful poem. Snowflakes are definitely blessings, at least where I am living. (Report) Reply

This was lovely. What and where is Vineland? Really enjoyed floating down with the snow flake. Made me feel quite light headed.
