Five Liner. Rain Poem by Valsa George

Five Liner. Rain

Rating: 5.0

Clouds gather over the far reaches of the sky
Rain pelts down in needles of silver
The Earth is tickled by the pin pricks
Dormant dreams resurrect
Blossoming every heart and the Earth

How wonderfully words can convert a natural event in to a beautiful painting; which only a Poet can do. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed reading your poem about the rain. Perhaps I shared that something you saw because I lived in Calcutta as a child and always went outside to play in the rain. It was fun. I liked the images tucked within your poem. Well done.

Every heart blossoms as the dense clouds drop some rain. Nicely said.

Fantastic expression on rain beginning with eloquent and amusing depiction. Rain pelts down in needles of silver is much interesting. It resurrects every heart abd earth. Thanks for posting this five liner.
