Fleeting Bow Poem by saadat tahir

Fleeting Bow

Rating: 5.0

In pervading silence of this night.
Lonely misery in my eye a blight.
Love I fear, is far and pale,
dreams now lost, drooping, stale.

Alone I breathe scared, forgotten,
my humble heart and my cotton.
Lost in raves, love's light may glow,
but these winds that ceaseless blow,

and distances dim the star light so,
an arrow lost to the fleeting bow.

It's soft and serene and sadness prevails but with no self-pity as 'loves's light may glow'.

And in this way sadness is transformed into beauty of spirit. Very touching poem.
