Fleeting Fickle Fia Poem by Onyi Ogwumike

Fleeting Fickle Fia

Fleeting Fickle Fia
Flies as a sun of Night’s own
Under a White Weeping Willow which
Shudders from the waves of heat surging
From her fingertips.

Fleeting Fickle Fia’s
Flame is framed brightly in the crimson waves of her lips
Rolling over, leaping over each other in playful prance.

Fleeting Fickle Fia’s
Famed tongue can be said to be the offspring
A soul of silver.

Fleeting Fickle Fia
Granddaughter of Regalia, Freedom at her greatest.

Free Fleeting Fickle Fia
Slipping through the fingers of Life and Time
Waste no time
Trying to chase
Feet of Fire, Free Fleeting Fickle Fia.
Daughter of moonlit scandal & Love’s flames’ quick smile.
