Flicker Of Second
Let us dream of universal world
Let all countries be taken into confidence and told
The need to come to under one umbrella cover
With full assurance of their existence however
We have witnessed ethnic cleansing
We have seen mass annihilation while crossing
It is no delight to ordinary man and complete population
What to speak of about humanity, its bond and healthy relation
We can think of different religion
At once time we can talk of regions too
But what to talk of division in same faith!
When we fail to maintain dignity at time of death
Can you believe person is sprayed with bullets?
When he is offering prayers at sacred outlets
Some ruffians come all of sudden and rain with deadly weapons
Person knows nothing about his fate and simply gone
Let us stop killing at least innocents
He may be son, daughter, wife or parent
What do you want to achieve by creating terror?
Even soul may not support when you look in the mirror
This may be ideological suggestion or thought
But no result has come even after so many wars have been fought
No country is happy under the heavy burden of debt trap
People suffer, country suffer and above all it is solid slap
We, the people, can change entire atmosphere
Time may come when we will no place to take shelter anywhere
The nature might have been ruined and nothing left behind as safe place
Whole man kind may be lost in flicker of second as race
Manju Suri ?Hasmukh Mehta A truth revealing composition...of every country and nation...Things are turning from bad to worse...we still seem to be under the curse...but not for me because I believe...from every curse and sin I am free to receive...people are still under a bondage...ignorant as yet of the rock of ages...! ! !
A very bold and timely call to all those concerned with the rot created by a section of people in the world. Great poem with perfect rhyming and a message: Let us stop killing at least innocents He may be son, daughter, wife or parent Time may come when we will no place to take shelter anywhere
