    it would be difficult for me to send you a more appropriate comment than the one that came before this one. i'm tempted to give it a 10.......but i don't think poemhunter's voting machine works for me.

    your poem is now on my poemlist and i'm tempted to make you a friend AND put you on my poetlist. well, i'm getting old. i just checked and you were added to the latter two categories before today.
    i like how flight of words rhymes with flight of birds. i especially enjoyed:
    Eating the rich suet
    Lying about in my brain.

    i may remember this poem whenever i hear someone say....words escape me....not that i've heard that expression lately. i'm glad the words finally came back to roost long enough for you to write this gem. thanks for sharing. bri (Report) Reply
