Flower

Staring at my phone,
Waiting for flower, a flower well known,
Though blooming alone, giving my life glitter.

Boys over flower,
Boys like flower,
as lovely as flower as ravishing as flower,
Yet what's prettier the meaning of flower.

Flower's a beaut,
colours and patterns are never dull to look,
Yet the details for a painter is picturesque.

Flower's an inspiration,
Standing on sunny day, colouring earth's fraction,
Yet surviving heavy rain believing the sky will again ardent.

Flower's love,
While lotus means true roses just mean love,
Pleasant metaphor, the plant of dove.
Give someone one, they will feel happy and beloved.

Flower's a friend,
best of friend shares way to dreamland,
yet pull Alice before she stuck in wonderland.

Flower's a bestie,
Joy and sorrow listening to story,
Yet never bored on people's faces drawing smiley.

This is a rap more than a poem,
Humming is better than just phrasing term,
thousands of essences from six letters.
A story about flower,
A flower well known,
Yet here I am still staring at my phone.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Zola was having the worst time of her life. She was depressed, devastated and she felt pathetic. One day, she met a flower and starts talking to it. Surprisingly it helped her a lot in a way she does not realise and she eventually smiles again.

A little while a little love
The hour yet bears for thee and me
Who have not drawn the veil to see
If still our heaven be lit above.
Thou merely, at the day's last sigh,
