Flower Poem by Francis Santaquilani

Flower

Rating: 5.0

How straight you stood

After the the lightning

Feigned sunlight

And the rain

Transmuted to hail.

How your clear blue eyes

Reflected the grumbling storm

Evanescing,

As you primped

In the puddle you stood in. This

The world should've seen.
