FLOWERS..

IM SORRY FOR NOT GIVING YOU FLOWERS
ON VALENTINE'S DAY,
AND FOR NOT SHOWING MY LOVE IN THAT SPECIAL WAY.

IM SORRY FOR NOT GIVING YOU FLOWERS
ON MOTHERS DAY,
AND FOR NOT APPRECIATING WHAT YOU DO
FOR OUR CHILDREN NIGHT AND DAY.

IM SORRY FOR NOT GIVING YOU FLOWERS
ON OUR ANNIVERSARY,
I NEVER MEANT TO HURT YOUR FEELINGS AND IM SORRY.

IM SO SORRY FOR HAVING TO GIVE YOU FLOWERS
ONLY ON THIS DAY,
I MISS YOU SO MUCH I WISH YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO PASS AWAY.

    I love the simple poems where emotions are expressed lucidly and so effectivley. Jose, one may read your poem and think they know exactly where it's going and then the ending hits you like a ton of bricks. Thats what poetry is all about...expecting the unexpected especially when it comes to emotions. Great poem: -)
