Flowers For Grandma (Forget-Me-Not) Poem by Emily Prescott

Flowers For Grandma (Forget-Me-Not)

Pale and bright,
Dainty and bold,
Beautifully placed
For us to behold.

Roses and violets,
Daisies and daffodils,
Scattered wonderfully
On meadows and hills.

Forget not,
The forget-me-not,
Tiny and blue,
I love you.

Forget-me-not,
The greatest flower of all.

I wrote this poem in 2008 in memory of my Grandma whose favorite flower was the forget-me-not.
