Fly. Poem by Charles M Moore

Fly.

Rating: 5.0

Fluttering round
feel your heart's like a feather
floating on upwards to reach for the sky
it's only love, only love is it?
is it love? , love it is
making you feel so alive

You can't remember a time like this
this is bliss
you never felt so incredibly high
she's the one, yes she is
she makes you feel like this
she's the one love that makes you want to fly

Life was a lonely place
pretty girl, pretty face
keep her and hold her and don't make her cry
offering everything she felt you clip her wings
wishing for freedom
you made her heart sigh

You didn't understand
in the past, couldn't last
smothering living you saw her soul die
women are Angels you must let them sing to you
spread out their wings
and fly up to the sky.
