Fly Away Poem by Raluca Rodica Ratiu

Fly Away

Rating: 2.3

How does it feel to cross the mountains,
How does it feel to cross the sea,
To find your only love in countries
That you have never thought you'll be!

But what about the clouds, the sky,
How does it feel to touch the sun,
To tell your loved one that you'll die
If it won't last what you've begun.

And what if you will sing to shadows,
Or whisper to the moon, the stars,
To blame the gods that you are jealous
Because they've trapped your heart with bars.

You seek salvation in the distant lands,
And you seek faith in him this way,
Born into greatness from the sands
Of love, hope, lust, to fly away.
