Give me the wings
So I can be free
From all the pain.
Let me fly away
And let me take you
So that we can be
Totally free
From the hurts of this world.

Let the spirits soar
Higher in one accord,
Because I now adore
The unlocking of that door
So the pain can be ignored
So my feelings can't be felt anymore.
Take my hand so that we may explore
The beautiful sunset by the ocean shore.

Give me the wings
So I can be free
From all the pain.
Let me fly away

From the hurts of this world.

I know that I have won the reward
Of being passionately adored
And now our hearts sing
In the same chord.
I don't know how
I became yours
But I'm so glad that
I scored
And now I look for
A new day to advance toward
This love's hardcore.
With no remorse.
