Rating: 5.0

thematic tone technical words
throb thunder in tuned engines
heartbeats within racing poets
spilling thunder thought words
forth into blank screen moments
ink pen destiny finds minds hands
to craft gift words to waiting souls
chosen is storm journey flight paths

mechanics technical aeronautical terms
important to flight technical pilot jocks
flying their fast jet tin can flying pencils
we poets reject fly on muscle angel's wings
stratosphere waits space receives thoughts
admires light touch our pathway choices

To believe that by thinking you can engage the musculature of an angels wing and ascend to heavenly space--- this is faith. No need to categorize religious or humanistic, is is spiritual.

p1 Interesting, this was one of the many experimental sonnet forms I wrote, with the octave and sestet written in a single end rhyme s to create the spiritual creative tension between writing in a mystical stream of consciousness dream state
