Flying Nobodies Poem by aeda sea

Flying Nobodies

i am a minnow
And I am one of two
Named somethings so simple as Ella and True
We’re mostly plain silver
I’m sorry to say
We haven’t bright colors that light up the bay
But some other fish
Who swim in seas same
Have colors so countless, the spectrums to shame
But one day I hope
Friends Ella and I
Will burst past the surface and into the sky
We’ll soar over water
And soar over sea
Ella will be Ella and I will be me
Shedding the pigments
And shedding the past
Leaving our bodies, our fears to the last
Leaving all everythings
With out any rue
Ella will be Ella and I will be True.
