Follow Me

Woke up this morning with something on my mind
Wondering to myself why this world is so unkind
There are no jobs, so many turn to crime
Children growing alone, while their parents doing time

I’m not a preacher; I’m just saying how I see
Instead of having friends, we have a bunch of enemies
Let’s make a pledge, take a stand and do what’s right
So we could all be comfortable when we go to bed at night.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
