Fool's Gold Poem by Anitah Muwanguzi

Fool's Gold

Rating: 5.0

I am colder than ice,
my chest an empty hole
you the weakness in me
my own lava
you hurt, and now I hurt- unable to save you
Making a fool of myself doesn't seem to do the trick
maybe fool's gold, but I can't help being just for you
