Foolish Boy Poem by faith toney

Foolish Boy

yea I know I meant to
so what, it only hurt him a little
and me it was just plain fun

watching him pull away
seeing him get worked up
letting him fall hard
feeling no sorrow for destruction
my feelings are hollow

for once Im ok without you
it feels good to know I can live
I can look at the other boys
your no longer
and I have no regrets
but yet so much to said

you did it to your self
you ended it I only sat by and watch
I knew what I was doing
but you were left in the shadows
you let go of me
only because I wasn’t holding on
my tight grip loosened day by day
with you sour words to inspire
your weak, so you didn’t pass to the next level
